From this moment on there is only me
I will shred all memories of you into wisps of nothingness
I will scroll through my contacts without remembering your name
I will watch movies feeling excited if there's only popcorn to keep me company
I will have dinner and be contented eating alone
I will sleep and be happy to have the whole bed to myself
I will look at the morning sky without thinking what's for our breakfast
I will gaze at the flying star and not make any happily ever after wishes
I will look at at my reflection and not see us
Because now there is no more you. And I am free.
